House Rules Committee Considers National Security Supplemental Legislation
House Session - June 4, 2009

The House passed a bill to authorize the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) for 2010 and 2011, which included an amendment to prohibit the use of whole-body imaging machines for primary screening at airports and requiring the option of a pat-down search. Members also passed a paid parental leave bill for federal workers.
