She discussed its origins and its legacy, focusing on changing views of women's rights and needs in the eyes of the Court, legislatures, and the public. She responded to questions from members of the audience. "[Muller v. Oregon]: Over a Century Later" was part of the New York Historical Society Bernard and Irene Schwartz Distinguished Speakers Series and part of the series "Celebrating the 19th Amendment: Ninety Years."
