Mr. Perito testified that information gathered by Mr. Wu, a former Chinese political prisoner, on a recent trip to China provided strong evidence that China was using its political prisoners to produce goods for export to the U.S., despite stringent regulations prohibiting the importation of goods to the U.S. produced by forced labor.
