      <title>Intervention in Vietnam, Reaction in America</title>
      <description>A panel discussion was held on the impact of the Vietnam War on the home front in the United States. Mr. Ritchie moderated. After the presentations the panelists responded to questions from members of the audience.
Frank Cain spoke on "War for the Asking: How America Became Involved in the Vietnam War;" Fabian Hilfrich spoke on "Contesting Patriotism: The Meanings of Patriotism and Dissent in the Debate on the Vietnam War (1964-1968);" Stephen Griffin spoke on "The Legal Justification for the Vietnam War: Backwards and Forwards with Nicholas deB. Katzenbach;" and David Anderson commented. 
"Ours to Reason Why: Intervention in Vietnam, Reaction in America" was a panel held September 30, 2010, during the International Conference on: "The American Experience in Southeast Asia, 1946"1975" by the The U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Public Affairs, Office of the Historian at their George C. Marshall Conference Center.*</description>
