Participants talked about relations between the U.S. and Iran and whether the two countries should develop closer ties. Among the issues addressed were the influence of fundamental Islam in the Iranian government, state-sponsorship of terrorism, democratization in Iran, and attitudes toward Middle East peace. Following their presentations they answered questions from the audience.
