City Kids, City Teachers is an updated edition of a book first published ten years ago by the same name. City Kids, City Schools is a new book that discussed the state of public city schools today. During the question and answer portion of this program, Mr. Ayers talked about becoming the target of attacks during the 2008 presidential election.
William Ayers, co-founder of the Weather Underground, is currently a professor of education at the University of Illinois at Chicago. His books include Fugitive Days: Memoirs of an Anti-War Activist and To Teach: The Journey of a Teacher.
