Julian Zelizer, author of Arsenal of Democracy: The Politics of National Security from World War II to the War of Terrorism, talked about the influence of the political process on national security and foreign policy decisions. Professor Zelizer in his book uses major conflicts to examine political decisions made by President and Congress in shaping national security policy.
