Historian Richard Lucas, a shortwave radio enthusiast, talked about the life of Mildred Gillars and how the American-born radio performer became employed by the Nazis during World War II and known to American forces in Europe as “Axis Sally.” Mr. Lucas showed pictures and played radio clips during his presentation and then responded to questions from members of the audience.
