Panelists talked about the state of the economy, deficit reduction strategies, and negotiations over federal debt reduction. They also talked about the work of the Joint Select Committee on Deficit Reduction. In his remarks Alan Greenspan suggested the committee should set a goal of $5 to $6 trillion in cuts. They also answered questions from the audience.
