This was the fourth day of Judge Breyer’s Supreme Court confirmation
hearings. Committee members heard testimony from 21 witnesses for
and against his confirmation. In this portion, a law professor
from Stanford University spoke about his academic qualifications and
answered questions from committee members. Another panel gave their
reasons for opposing Judge Breyer’s confirmation, specifically his
stance on abortion and home schooling. They also answered questions
from committee members.
