Secretary Richardson briefed reporters on the administration’s efforts to ease heating oil prices in the Northeast. Among the measures taken were providing funds for low income families to heat their houses, establishing a task force to insure efficient delivery of heating oil, and new regulations to allow increased delivery of home heating oil. After his comments he responded to questions from reporters.
