President Obama military leaders, and clergy delivered remarks at a memorial service for the 13 people killed in a shooting at Fort Hood, Texas on November 4. President Obama praised the victims for their service and said that the legacy of the dead will live beyond their “incomprehensible” slayings. 
The boots, helmets and rifles and service photographs of the slain soldiers were lined up before the podium where President Obama spoke, and family members of the dead wore white ribbons as they were escorted to seats at the ceremony.
