Rep. Ford is serving his ninth term in Congress and is a member of the Ways and Means and Select Aging Committees. For the second time in four years Rep. Ford faces trial for fraud in his home district of Memphis, Tennessee. The first proceeding ended in a mistrial when the jury was unable to reach a verdict. Rep. Ford discussed his trial and the “continued persecution of black elected officials.” close
