Ron Powers talked about his book Mark Twain: A Life, published by Free Press. In his book the Pulitzer Prize and Emmy Award-winning author chronicled the life of one of America’s most famous authors, Samuel Clemens, better known to the world by his pen name Mark Twain. Mr. Powers used letters from contemporaries, speeches, and journal entries to detail the private life and personality of Samuel Clemens, outside his writings. Following his presentation, the author responded to questions and comments from members of the audience.
