Barbara Berg talked about her book Sexism in America: Alive, Well, and Ruining Our Future (Lawrence Hill Books; September 1, 2009). In her book she presented a documented argument that women in America have not come nearly as far since the 1950s and '60s as is generally believed. She shows how sexism has merely adapted to the changes in the culture. From pay equity to higher costs for medical care, she argued that the women's rights movement still has a long way to go. Ms. Berg responded to questions from members of the audence.
