Joint Economic Committee Member Loretta Sanchez (D-CA) talked about Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke’s appearance before her committee later in the morning. Topics included possible action by the Federal Reserve to stimulate the economy in response to May 2012 unemployment numbers and global economic uncertainty, the Congressional Budget report on mounting debt issued earlier in the week, and possible congressional action on the debt, taxes and the economy. She also responded to telephone calls and electronic communications.
