In their essays Thomas Christie, Franklin Spinney, and Pierre Sprey take a critical look at how the Defense Department operates and where the money it receives goes. They also responded to questions from members of the audience. Danielle Brian, acted as moderator for the discussion. This book launch event was held March 9, 2011, at the Stewart R. Mott House by the World Security Institute in partnership with the Project on Government Oversight.
