Governor-elect Ventura was sworn into office. He spoke about his goals and hopes for the state of Minnesota. He discussed how his Navy Seal training had prepared him for the tasks and responsibility of being governor. He read a letter from his former Sargent and said he would do the best job he possibly could. He thanked those who had helped and supported him and greeted attendees.
