Foreign policy experts talked about U.S. assistance to civilian law enforcement in developing countries. Among the issues they addressed were the administration and operation of training programs for foreign police, levels of mistrust of police forces in some developing nations, and lessons learned from past programs in Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan and dozens of other countries. They also responded to questions from the audience.
