Marguerite Kondracke, President and CEO of America’s Promise Alliance, talked about her group’s latest efforts to tackle rising dropout rates in our nation’s high schools. President Obama announced $900 million dollars worth of grants that have been set aside to improve low-performing schools with high dropout rates. She also responded to telephone calls and electronic communications.
