Taylor Branch talked about his book The Clinton Tapes: Wrestling History with the President (Simon & Schuster; September 29, 2009). In his book Taylor Branch recalls his eight years of private meetings with President Bill Clinton between 1993 and 2001. Mr. Branch and the then president would meet monthly and discuss current events with the intent of creating an oral history that would present an insider's view of the American presidency. He responded to questions from members of the audience.
