Holocaust Memorial on C-SPAN

With the twentieth anniversary of the dedication of the Holocaust Memorial in Washington, DC, we look back on the many programs from the memorial including the dedication in 1993. These programs are all in the C-SPAN Video Library and can be found here. The Video Library has programming going back to the 1980s, so it can be used to review many events.

Immigration on C-SPAN

Al Neuharth, founder of USA Today, the Freedom Forum, and the Newseum, passed away. He appears in the Video Library 18 times. You can see all these appearances on his bio page. Included is a Q&A interview. He also reflected on his war experience in a panel with journalist Mike Wallace. Use the C-SPAN Video Library to explore the life of this influential newspaperman.

Margaret Thatcher, 1925-2013

Margaret Thatcher loomed large in the early days of the C-SPAN Video Library. Called the Iron Lady, she was a conservative partner to President Ronald Reagan in redefining conservatism across two continents. She was witty during the many Question Times that we covered her. She was resolute in her party speeches. She stood along side Reagan in many events. She has 124 appearances in the Video Library.

Code Pink on C-SPAN

C-SPAN recently interviewed Medea Benjamin about her efforts with Code Pink. In the Q&A interview, you can see many clips of the Code Pink demonstrations that are often seen on C-SPAN.
