  • As a struggling first time writer, Christopher Hitchens will always be acknowledged, adulated, and defended in my prose. Thank you C Span and Brian Lamb for furthering the work of this unique and coruscate writer who will be sorely missed.

  • R.I.P. Mr. Hitchens. I pray there is a merciful god and an afterlife for you to write about

  • Thank you for doing this!. I also wish you would scheduled a Sunday of Hitchens interspersed with callers and comments but announce it ahead of time so I don’t miss it.

His death for me seems almost like a PERSONAL loss for some reason. I could cry, really. Doesn’t happen for me with public figures as a general thing.

Such a loss and so young!

  • I agree completely about the Hitchens Sunday. Thank goodness for the C-SPAN archives, and thank goodness , too, to Mr. Lamb for his many wonderful interviews with Mr. Hitchens over the years – a legacy to treasure.

  • I also would like a Hitchens sun. I also agree with Maggie about the loss seeming so personal. Thank you so much for the cspan video library. RIP Mr. Hitchens.
