Kennedy 1961 Inaugural Speech

This is the 50th anniversary of John F. Kennedy’s 1961 inaugural. In the U.S. Capitol Rotunda the other day, political leaders gathered to commemorate his inaugural and the audio of his speech. Caroline Kennedy Schlossberg was present for the occasion. That event can be watched here. The C-SPAN Video Library contains a video copy of the original address. We thought we would highlight it here for anyone who wanted to watch it.

    Great President we love you forever. It was a shame they had you killed we know who they are, they are trying to destroy American. We will carry on God bless you still. There are other great men like you that will come forward.
